Bridges in One Visit

Dr. Anderson is highly experienced in the placement of bridges. He uses latest technology to place high-quality, durable bridges in just one visit.

Dr.Anderson prepares the crowns of the bridge in his own laboratory, using the CEREC system of 3D modeling. He mills the crowns out of a high grade porcelain that is very similar to natural tooth material.

To assist in the placement of some bridges, Dr. Anderson uses "mini dental implants". Mini dental implants are very small titanium posts that are installed and loaded in one hour. Mini implants can be screwed down into the bone without any surgery or incision and do not require any extra time ‘to take’. Dr. Anderson can then place the crowns onto the implant posts to secure the bridge in place.

What is a Bridge?

Bridge: A bridge is a dental restoration that spans an area that has no teeth and is connected to natural teeth or implants at each end. A typical bridge consists of a pontic (a filler tooth) that is attached to two surrounding abutments (crowns). After completion, this bridge structure is then bonded into place.
