Well-Fitting, Natural-Looking Dentures
Dr. Anderson can design full and partial dentures for you that:
- fit exactly
- look and feel natural
- will be completely comfortable
- won't become sore or painful
- will be stable for all your chewing needs
- won't eventually slip
- prevent bone loss and premature wrinkles around your face and lips
Dr. Anderson has a lot of experience in designing dentures. Prior to creating your dentures, he will conduct a full oral examination and discuss with you the different options for dentures that will meet your expectations and more.
Our full and partial dentures are custom-made using quality materials that look natural and are durable. We ensure that they are the right shape, color and size for a natural look and that the bite (the way your teeth come together) is correct.
Inaccurately fitting dentures are the major cause of a lot of the problems with dentures and there is a technology and art to creating a perfect fit, which Dr. Anderson employs.
Another major cause of denture problems is poor alignment and poor bite (the way your teeth come together and function). Dr. Anderson ensures your dentures are properly aligned, either with each other or with the remainder of your teeth.
Aligning the dentures correctly will also give you a more attractive look and prevent premature wrinkles around your lips or at the corners of your mouth.
Mini Dental Implants for Greater Stabilization
Mini implants can be used to stabilize your dentures. Unlike traditional implants, mini implants can immediately be fitted to dentures as they don’t require months of healing. They can often be placed where traditional implants can't be due to insufficient bone quality. Like traditional implants, mini implants assist in preventing bone loss in your jaw.
Stabilize your dentures in one visit!
Dr. Anderson can place your implants and fit or retrofit your dentures in just one visit. Most of the time, the only anesthetic necessary is an injection directly over the position in the gums where each implant is to be placed. Existing dentures can be retrofitted over the newly placed implants and can then be used immediately.
The procedure is generally very comfortable and produces very minimal post-operative discomfort.
It is important that mini implants are placed correctly and that the quality of the bone is adequate. Additionally, the fit of the dentures has to be exact. Dr. Anderson has a great deal of experience placing mini implants and designing well-fitting dentures. He will perform a complete evaluation to determine if you are a candidate for mini implants.
